Proposed as a Five Star Business hotel in the North of Bangalore, the Mirrin Hotel required 184 guest rooms to be serviced. Being a competitive industry, the hotel design became crucial for the way it was going to carve niche among the competitors. The design attempted to break from the the typical notion of a business hotel - which adopts a template based design, tried and tested elsewhere - by incorporating elements specific to the context there, making it more experiential. The precinct was resolved keeping all services in mind and hosted facilities like a spa, an all day dining facility, a bar, fine dining restaurants and a pool.
