BANGALORE CLUB CHAMBERS

A design competition to aggrandize one of the oldest club facility in the country with restaurant, sports facilities and guest rooms.
Design approach followed with the guest rooms as a geometric volume in dialogue with a verdant context. Respecting the existing vegetation, the buildings were placed around existing rain trees constituting framed landscaped courts. This green court acts as a world within the world for the guest, providing seclusion from the club activities.  Substantial earth was kept free of built up allowing smooth flow of  green  spaces between the central court and the existing campus, thus forming an integrated part of the club.
CnT stood runner up in this competition.
