BAUHAUS MUSEUM, WEIMER

BAUHAUS museum design at Weimer was a competition entry. The design responded towards the immediate and distant context of the site and the overall notion of BAUHAUS philosophy. An extensive public plaza was provided as a foreground of the building and to create a multiple routing to a public building. A park immediately next to the site was given prominence by opening up the building facade towards it and through an amphitheater.
