"Spaces where life occurs are places" - Christian Norberg-Schulz, Genius Loci: Towards a Phenomenology of Architecture

To Construct the Campus as a Sustainable Community of Learners A true campus is one that creates a shared sense of purpose among all of its inhabitants, whether they are students, teachers, or staff. This purpose has to be lived through in habitation. To facilitate this culture of in habitation, the design of the campus cannot be derived from an abstract philosophy of architecture or education. Rather, it must distribute the programmatic elements of the campus in a way that creates a new 'place': one that is woven into context and climate
